Updates and "The Beast of House Blood" Announcement

Hey, everybody!

So many of you guys are probably aware of the massive delay regarding my The Equestrian Cycle series. This is due in large part to an overhaul of the mythos to better condense and tell the story, as I believe that I might have gone too far in the overall narrative. I want to leave the series open to the potential for other authors to contribute as well (I would like The Equestrian Cycle to be an open universe), and that means changing how I approach the story.

I will continue to mythologize and give you guys regular updates on the mythology and upcoming works, including efforts to include short stories in the overall work from time to time.

In other news, I have completed the rough draft for the prologue and the first chapter of a human-oriented story called, The Beast of House Blood. This will be a part of an anthology and series of stories, some connected and others not, called The Mage, Knight, and Rogue Anthology, the meaning of which will become clear.

The Beast of House Blood is a slice of life adventure which follows the life of a very special Equestrian knight. It will cover his life, adventures, and his relationship with the Mane 6, though it will NOT be an adaptation of the MLP show, but an alternate Equestria.

I was inspired to write this story by reading stories like A Novice Swordsman in the Canterlot Court by DungeonMiner and especially The Monster of Canterlot by drnkntst.

I am excited by this story and I hope you will be too. I want to work on it when I am not working on The Equestrian Cycle
