The TL;DR of it - was fine. A good film on its own merits, but as a live-action adaptation of the animated classic, inferior. I'm not one of those puritans who sniffs the original is always better, but that's the case here. There are parts and elements of it that work well and improve on some parts of the original, but as a whole, the original is better. When I saw the trailer for Netflix's new show Sexy Beasts, I was horrified what I was looking at. Being a Brony means I am basically a furry. (I don't wear a fursuit, that's too far for me) I imagine non-furries would be even more horrified at what they are seeing. The uncanny valley and disturbing masks they wear will haunt your nightmares. I don't want to post pictures of it to scare you.
