An Update on The Equestrian Cycle · 3:59pm Dec 12th, 2014

'Sup everybody.

Many of you guys who have favorited me have probably been waiting for the latest chapter to A Paragon of Peace. Well, I'm am writing this blog post to give you guys an update regarding the project.

First things first, the story and the series overall are still going on. I have had to focus primarily on my job and school, but the work and development of the project has been going steadily. The story has greatly developed since a year ago when the last chapter came out.

However, this has resulted in the first of the updates to be announced. The story for A Paragon of Peace has advanced far beyond my original scope when I wrote those first chapters in April of 2013. What was originally a one-shot has quickly become a huge piece of a much larger story. As such, I feel it is necessary and beneficial that everything that has been written up to now be analyzed and rewritten to better represent the new story goals. Fear not, the basic outline and plot developments will not change. Merely more details, additional character perspectives and expanded dialogue will be added to better and more concisely tell the story.

This brings me to the next update. Before the fourth chapter, An Unexpected Kindness, and the updated chapters are released, a completely new collection of prequel stories to A Paragon of Peace will be released entitled The Outlander Arc. The new stories will be composed of three novellas (each around 11 or so chapters) and at least one one-shot (Maybe two). The one-shot, which is a dark little piece entitled First Do No Harm and will feature Nurse Redheart, is already a quarter of the way through and should be done in a few days. These new stories will expand upon the universe, lead into A Paragon of Peace and introduce characters and places that will become incredibly relevant as The Equestrian Cycle progresses. We will also see numerous familiar faces popping in and out, but the focus will primarily remain on background characters and OC's.

The world of The Equestrian Cycle is growing and continues to mature everyday. I am exceedingly excited to work on this pet project of mine and am not losing steam by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, as soon as I finish this post, I am getting right back to writing.

The Outlander Arc should be released in a single massive piece sometime, hopefully, around Mid-February.

Though, you guys do know my writing style and how it equates with setting due dates.

Yeah, that seems about right.

I want to thank all of you for the wonderful responses I have gotten for the story so far and when these updates come to fruition, I hope to continue to impress.

Now back to the story!
