As you might imagine I write rather a lot, in the past couple years I’ve put around half a million words down on paper, and of those I say a good 350k of them have been pony related.
So, you might be wondering, why have I only posted one single short story in that time? Well, it’s because almost none of it was finished work. What I have written is a collection of short bits and pieces, some scenes, some moments and some very interesting ideas. It’s all a wild storm or creativity, but very little of it makes a whole. Only a couple of those ideas made it into a full story, one was the silly little shaggy dog story I posted, the other was as another story featuring Mary. There was a bit of clop I’m in the process of rewriting.
In all that writing I’ve come up with:
- Two different ‘ponies on Earth’ settings, one happy and one kind of dark (but not evil), plus notes on a third that would be far too big for me to write.
- A long series of scenes in the darker PoE setting, with Scootaloo on the ISS.
- A setup for a story with Twilight trapped on Earth, this one more cynical then dark.
- Some bits and pieces of a story line involving the history of the magic mirror and what it was really made for.
- A few bits of interesting clop one shots
- A number of slice of life scenes, some made by picking ponies at random and having them interact.
- The setup for a story where the leader of the Diamond Dogs come to Rarity begging for help.
- Some bits and pieces related to ascension and some bits with an OC going through it.
- A few scenes working out characters that will eventually show up in Mary’s story line.
- An odd little set of scenes involving my self-insert pony character that ended up a way to deal with some of my RL mental health issues. Worked too.
- Some random Discord stuff.
- Alien ship crashes in equestrian, but is piloted by a pony whose ancestors left the world before even Discord arrived.
- And a bunch of random junk in between.
Now, the reason I’m bringing all of this up now is kind of simple. I want to try to flesh out some of these ideas into full on stories but I’m not sure which would attraction any attention. I’m kind of bummed out that my last few stories vanished without a trace and want to try something more appealing. So, are there any ideas you think I should expand upon, or you would like to know more about?
I'm interested but I'd kind of like to know a bit more about the random junk bits before I make a vote one way or the other.

Well, the junk bits had things like a self insert romancing one of the canon characters, pretty much existing as personal fan service that no one but me wants to see. Other stuff like a random scene between characters that never went anywhere, or stuff that I quickly gave up on. I honestly don't remember much of it other then just an noise.
