The Dark Knight Update: Some slight chapter reconstruction and my plan thus far for Chapter 2 · 3:59pm Aug 29th, 2017
Joker here. Well, someone in the comments of The Dark Knight pointed out some flaws in my designs for the opening chapter of The Dark Knight, some plot inconsistancies with Star Wars canon, and a few other things. While I was initially hesitant about making the edits he wanted me to make, research indicates that he may actually be onto something. So, I made a couple of alterations to the opening chapter. Hopefully, you'll like them.
Anyways, here's my plan thus far for chapter 2, entitled "Welcome to Canterlot." Kylo explains what his Grandfather told him to Celestia, Cadence, Shining Armor, and the Mane 6, who aren't sure whether or not to believe him about this Starlight Glimmer's meddling with time. Celestia asks for some time to investigate this further, and has some of her guards prepare a guest bedroom for Kylo in the castle and gives him some bits, And by some, I mean a LOT, of bits. The room is only until Shining Armor and the real Cadence are married, at which point Kylo is to move in with Twilight, who, in true Twilight fashion, eagerly wants to run tests on both him and his weapons, something which Kylo isn't exactly looking forward to. Rarity, meanwhile, uses her magic to take Kylo's measurements for a suit for the wedding, as given that he helped stop the Changelings, it'd be a good idea for him to help provide security. Of course, Kylo isn't too keen on the idea of taking orders from creatures he just met, but something (Anakin) tells him that refusing to help is not a good idea, so Kylo, very reluctantly, agrees.
The following day, Kylo, whose presence is known to nearly everyone in Canterlot, several of whom are trying to get in his good books (namely give him money, power, mares, etc so they can call upon him to do them some favors, of course) and who should he meet there but Prick Blueblood. After being friendly to Kylo at first, Blueblood decides to become "Prince Chameless" again basically go where it's not okay to go with Kylo (namely, his parents and his past) and as a result... something akin to this happens.
With a little bit of this thrown in for good measure.
Needless to say, this causes some... complications to happen for Kylo, as well as allowing the Equestrian media to have a field day with him. But, things quickly turn around when Celestia lets him out of the dungeons and actually hugs and thanks Kylo for putting the fear of Faust in Blueblood, something that she hopes will get him to be less of a whiny jerk to everypony when he doesn't get his way.
That's all I've got so far. If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to share them.
Interesting. I can see it all possibly coming together now. And I like what I see
Hope to see more.
