    New chapter Friday

I sincerely apologize for not updating recently. My job has given me mandatory overtime which means less time to work on writing. It’s expected to last till the end of the year

That being said, I want to make 2-3 more chapters before 2023, with the next one coming Friday.

Arc 2 Chapter 3 coming Saturday

Apologies for the long delay, I had to sort out some stuff, and farming Grail Front plus the new version of Genshin Impact takes a lot of your time.

Humans (Homosapian)

History

Humans first came into existence over 100,000 years ago, a long time after the first Pokémon which goes back over 300 million years. Science has never been able to explain how mankind came into being as DNA has never linked humans to that of Pokémon, and whenever someone asks Arceus if she made them they simple get the answer "No". Weather or not this is a half-truth or lie of omission has never been brought up.

Since their appearance they have continued to advance and evolve as a species and build great and vast civilizations, only being slowed down or halted due to major world calamites such as Legendary Pokémon fighting, or apocalyptic events, the most notable one being the great flood that sweep the world and nearly drove them to extinction if not for a particular family who survived on a large boat known as the "Ark".

The greatest example of their civilization before modern times was exemplified in the Ransei Region, where humans unified a region of 18 different kingdoms and attempted to colonize worlds far in other realms, a Epoch of human history known as the "Golden Age". But as all things don't last forever that era came to an end due to civil war and corrupt rulers, resulting in the downfall of Ransei and the 18 colonies being lost to the void. Today Ransei is a shadow of its former self, with only a small fraction of its population existing today then it did during back then.

In modern times, humanity is mostly at peace with a few small wars or conflicts happing in some parts of the world. Its strongest countries are Japan, the United States, Britain, China, Russia and France. These conflicts are mostly contributed tot he various villainous teams who have as of late become more common and more dangerous.

Technology

Human technology has advanced to a point where space travel is more common place, even some airships are capable of faster than light travel. Mechs and robots are common place in places like Germany and Russia, this is due to their significance in the World Wars. In short, technology today can compete with even magic in terms of power and adaptability.

Magecraft

Magic today is in a way weaker and much less commonplace than it was back during ancient times. When people say that it more or less refers to how the common mage cannot compete or go toe to toe with a mage or wizard of over 1,000 years ago. The only bastions where Magecraft still is cherish are the three major Mage Associations around the world: The Clock Tower in London, the Ultima Academy in Washington, and the Atlas Institutionin Tokyo, smaller separate cells exist, but none of them compare to the big three. Mages tend to keep to themselves and the only places that allow outsiders into their fold are the US and Japan Associations under the recommendation of an established member.

Morality

Humans like any sapient are capable of great good or great evil. But for the most part humans are reasonable and understanding beings with only some being truly evil or fiendish. Regions or Countries with Pokémon tend to fall on the better side of the morality spectrum, while places without are more in the grey area.

Powers and abilities

Humans for the most part are powerless people without the aid of magic or technology. Some are born with the power the channel psychic energy or manipulate Aura, but they are far and few in between. One notable aspect however its their ability to withstand great trauma, this trait came about due to living alongside Pokémon which under normal circumstances can easily kill someone if given the chance, although this trait does not activate until after someone has taken a few good hits.

Souls

Probably one of the most enduring things about humans are their souls. A human soul cannot be destroyed, scattered or eradicated in any way shape or form. That doesn't save them form hungry Ghost type Pokémon who like to eat souls as food, they do this by feeding off the light that a soul generates before releasing them to wander the world as a ghost until a Dusknoir, Saint or the Angel of Death guides them to the afterlife. An experienced mage can fuse his soul with an infant to prolong his life a the cost of his "self", but upon death they will separate. Some humans who cannot come to terms with their death will be reborn as certain Ghost type Pokémon, but when their Pokémon life comes to an end they will become a human soul again and go to whatever afterlife they deserve.

Mixed-Blood

The Divine Spirits of ancient times sometimes liked to experiment and toy with the people who revered them. An example can be found in Mixed-Blood humans. They are those whose blood has been combined with that of an animal for the purpose of displaying inhuman traits. This blood can be passed down through generations and can for the most part never manifest unless the descendent acts in a way that naturally brings out these traits. These animalistic traits are for the most part cosmetic with some displaying that traits spoken of in legend.

.Kitsune

The result of the Divine Spirit Amaterasu mixing her followers blood with that of foxes, this sub-species of humans can cast more powerful magic akin to curses and project illusions that are not unlike the Pokémon Ninetails and Zoroark who they have a rivalry with. The fox ears on their heads do not have holes for hearing and are more akin to antennas.

Centaur

The product of the Divine Spirit of Time Cronus and Philyra whose son is Chiron, Centaurs do not actually posses the body of a horse and head of a man like the myths say, but rather they have the tails of a horse and the stamina of one. This misconception stems from a veil called the mist, made by Hecate to deceive the Greeks and making the Centaur race seem more imposing. They are excellent Archers and one of the more savage Mixed-Blood races, the most notable exception being Chiron who regarded as a sage.

.Minotaur

A Mixed-Blood species the originated from Greece along with the Centaurs, the only bull like traits they posses are the horns sticking out of their heads and their enormous strength. Minotaurs are a mostly agreeable race so long as you don't treat them as monsters or lesser beings. They are at home with nature and can be found interacting best with bullvine Pokémon like Tauros and Bouffalant.
