So, I'm currently writing a story for Oroboro's Sunset Shimmer Shipping Contest, and I really want it to be as good as it can be. Also considering I'm a greenhorn in the romance genre, I need every bit of help I can get. Just one thing, though, I'd like to keep the story at an E Rating, so that's just a heads up for anyone that may feel like a certain part of the story would be better off using something that would push the story up to a T Rating. However, if you really think the story needs it, you can ask me about it. Just to be clear, absolutely nothing will be getting even close to M, so sorry to those kinds of writers that want to help. Anyways, I'm pretty sure M stories aren't even allowed in the contest.

I hesitate to offer my services as editor because firstly I don't believe I am qualified, and secondly there is so much riding on your competition entry, I should rather see you supported by someone who can do a really competent job. Fedairkid has kindly stepped up, so you have some support already, but if you need more we could possibly talk further; we are here to support each other after all.
In the meantime if you want to read some really good romances may I recommend Battlecat, who has written three brilliant E and T rated Rarity x Twilight stories:

Just found this writer today, and immediately favorited all three stories. They all focus on the emotions of romance without drifting into clop. Great work and definitely worth a read.
