That story I wrote a week ago, The Lady, A Guitar And A Very Confused Pinkie Pie, I have been looking through the comments.
Let me tell ya, some of those comments were pretty annoying to look over. They all amounted to the same response - negativity.
Normally, this type of stuff will never have any bother in my life, but this one has a particular itch to me. Some people say that I 'missed a great opportunity' and that I 'did nothing with the story'.
Well, first off, I'm well aware of what I've written, and I'm keeping it the way it is. It does not need or require a continuation from me or anyone else, and I've made that point very clear. One day, perhaps my mind shall change and it will be written for all to see, but for now, not a chance.
I never even intended for it to turn out as it did overnight, and honestly, that still surprises me. It's not every day that you wake up and see that you've made the featured listings. Even more so, there has been a bit of a demand for more detail and continuation.
I'll be upfront - the story has brought me numerous demands and people have commented telling me that they felt that it could have had more explanations as to Rarity's past with guitar lessons and such. Well, yes, I do know that. However, I was already being swatted by these comments before I even noticed that it was featured.
I only noticed after I woke up, so obviously, I couldn't do anything about it until a later point. Besides, I'm working on a project now, so when that's over, there might very well be a continuation.
Although, there won't be any guarantees or promises towards that. My life is quite spontaneous in what is thrown at me.

Um, I think some of your readers are taking things WAY too seriously and they need to chill.
I never expected to see a blog post such as this one for the one-shot I read only hours ago.
Now... IF and only IF you WANTED to flesh out the story (Rarity's explanation to Pinkie Pie) then sure, you could.
A missed opportunity??
ffs people - if the author is happy with a single chapter story, then enjoy it for what it is !!

It's was a great story, at least in my opinion. Nearly every story That's based off of a small moment in an episode is short and basic, it's only supposed to last like, half an hour. Everyone needs to calm the heck down.
