In the amazing event that you checked up on Warhammer 40K: Courage and Honour and Friendship in the last 30 seconds, you will notice that I have finally gotten around to putting it "On Hiatus."
Have no fear, I have no intention of canceling it. I have you guys to thank for that. Your overwhelmingly positive response to my writing is what made me want to continue it.
Getting to my point now.
To say the least, college has been kicking my ball bearings (quite literally in one case). An extremely hectic first semester and marching band commitments have just made it impossible for me to really put significant time into writing. I still have my next few chapters mapped out, but getting them written is my big problem.
But hey look buddy, I'm an engineer (no seriously, I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering), that means I solve problems. I fully intend to get the next chapter ASAP, but in the meantime, my work will have to come first. With luck, lasers, and the Emperor's favour, I will have the next chapter out before November.
Thought for the day: "To admit defeat is to blaspheme before the Emperor."

Dude, believe me when I tell you that I know what you mean. As a Mechatronic Engineer myself, in my 5th semester is a major pain is the ass to have enough spare time to dedicate it to my hobbies. My poor videogames miss me already...
Regarding the fic, well, we'll have to be patient then, simply as that.
