Soooo...
Yeah, just 'cos I know whats going on doesn't mean everyone else does. Seems pretty straightforward, right? You would think so...
Right! So, the reason I haven't updated squat, or been doin' nothin' towards updating anyone is....
I got nothin'.
No! I moved, I've been busy at work... And as many other excuses that I can come up with as to why I haven't just buckled down and got to typing. Whilst the aforementioned excuses are true, and could be construed as genuine reasons for the lack of progress, they would be shallow and pointless misdirection at best, and downright cowardly untruths in the harsh lights of reality.
No, dear readers! The fact of the matter, and all it's blame lays at my own feet. I just haven't done it. Yes I have a full time job and it asks a lot. Yes I did move recently and that has eaten up a lot (almost every...) of my spare time and weekends, with moving, arranging, re-arranging and just getting the house in order.
But I could have done more IF I WANTED TO! So on that note, I have kicked myself in the keister and got back to editing and writing and even more editing... Oi, if you ever get it in your head that you can do this without someone editing for you, reconsider your life choices and then cave your own skull in with a claw hammer. Seriously, editors save all the things!
Anyhoo, what to expect. I will finish editing that backlog and repost the edited material. I will do this at the same time as my next chapter, which IS coming, AFTER it is edited :P So thats me. I DO genuinely apologise to those who are/were waiting, and I have no intention of letting you all down. But things are happening and stuff is getting done, and if I had a redo button, I would just... redo all the things that had anything to do with how I have managed this whole... writing story thing... caper? Is it a caper... or and endeavor?

That aside, you should write when you feel the inspiration strike you, not when you feel the need to update due to time. Real fans never leave you, believe me.
