You Don't Belong: The Game - BETA OUT, RETITLED · 2:49pm Jul 26th, 2017
First, a few important updates:
-You Don't Belong has now been renamed 'Misplaced'.
-The beta is out! Grab it here (it's a big file... might want to grab a snack while you download it.) There are three 'official' endings, and two 'unofficial' ones, depending on what choices you make (that crystal's pretty important...)
Also, you might spot a certain somepony in the room with you if you're lucky!
-Please let me know what you think of this game! I've already received a ton of feedback from the alpha testers, but I would definitely like to know if you spot any glitches, thematic inconsistencies, or things you just plain don't like.
One last thing:
-A lot of playtesters told me that the controls aren't quite clear enough, so here's the lowdown:
-WASD to move around in the overworld, arrow keys to move around in a battle scene.
-Enter to select or interact with stuff, Shift to go back.
-Q opens your menu.
-E drops an item.
-Mouse1 is used for attacking.
Good luck!
I received this error while playing the game. This happened right after I released Nightmare Moon. It appeared randomly while I was talking to Nightmare Moon.

Oh dear. I hope nobody else is getting this.
Are you able to get past that point, or is that making you unable to progress?

The game just crashed, unfortunately. I haven't replayed the game yet to see if it would happen again. I will try that path again tonight.

I have been able to get past that point every other time I have attempted that route. It might have been just a random bug. The only other issue I have come across is this random graphical glitch that appears sometimes.

It might well be - the strangest thing about GameMaker is that bugs can appear in exported versions that never did in the project version.
Also, that's not quite a glitch...
-Tutorial: Spamming enter continues to give the dialogue from each fight option during enemy turn
-Enemy Health bar is awkwardly placed, requires you to glance away from the battlefield and enemy to check, and only appears for a brief time, pushing players to do so.
-Dieing to Cerberus before battle and loading without a save brought me back to the character creation but old character existed on screen and could move around, vanished upon continuing through character creation screen.
-RUN option during Cerb battle crashes game
-Running from NMM and then ignoring her results in a game over via neutral ending, kinda anticlimatic? not really sure if the rest if even in the beta, this also results in an auto save, incredibly annoying, forcing the player to go through the tutorial yet again. to try something else
-After rescuing NMM, an interactive body remains in the cage. interactions cause the "She's not responding" dialogue.
-in the run with the glitch above, still got neutral ending, despite Petting cerb and rescuing NMM
-Attack doesn't play well with my touchpad, not sure if you can even do anything about that :\
-Quit should have a confirm dialogue, i can easily see someone accidentally hitting it, because I did.
Probably not gonna play any more right now, dont wanna go through the tutorial for the 6th time.
Edit: If you try to run from cerberus via actually running without entering the battle screen you just instantly die. I only just realized that might not be intentional

Have you encountered any of these glitches multiple times? I've received several reports of game-crashing bugs that only pop up once, and then never again. Presumably something went awry in between the GameMaker version and the export, because none of these ever occurred in the GM version even after several hundred trial runs during production.
-Ignoring NMM resulting in a Neutral ending is on purpose, though. Running away from someone doesn't really count as sparing their life, especially as you're condemning her to continued occupation in Tartarus.
About half of the other ones you noted were glitches and aesthetic bugs I'm somewhat aware of. They've been patched as soon as I hear about them, but I'm not sure I want to go about updating the beta just yet until I figure out what's causing all the less predictable glitches.
