Stallion of Steel

It's never as bad as it seems. In this world there is right and there is wrong, and that distinction is not difficult to make. You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me.

    Where've been part 2

If it seems that I've been taking forever it's because I have. As I said in my last blog I was trying to make some changes in my life. Some are going okay, others not so okay. I failed my road test due to a simple mistake caused by a migraine. So now I have to take online courses and practice for 24 hours. Plus I'm trying out some new medication to help my migraines. It helps somewhat, but I have

    Where I've been.

So it's been a while since I did any writing here. There are mainly three reasons for this.

    1. My depression. My depression has been rearing its ugly head again. Luckily I could locate a therapist nearby and schedule an appointment for a session.

    Legion of Superhero Characters.

So one of the upcoming chapters will be based on its about time. After reading some feedback, I've decided this would be a place to introduce the Legion of Superheroes. The story will closely follow their debut in Adventure Comics #247 The heroes are to be presented as follows.

    Update: where I've been.

It's been two...I think months since I last posted a chapter. I've kind of been busy with other things. Mostly work related. As well as dealing with a bit of writers block. I'll try to get Super Bloom part 2 finished this month. I promise.

    Comet Update.

I'm writing this post to inform you that I've struggled to stay motivated with my writing lately. I've just been overwhelmed with everything that's happening in the world. I keep finding myself easily distracted by news stories and the things I used to do for fun, don't seem to elicit joy from me anymore. I thought at first it was because I was tired from working. But now I think I might be at

Post Perfect Pear Re-Edit. · 4:54pm Jul 8th, 2017

So after the airing of The Perfect Pear It became evident that It would be necessary to go back and re-edit my earlier chapters. Thankfully It didn't require much other than changing some names, descriptions and a few lines of dialog. It feels good to have that weight off my shoulders and hopefully it'll help get my creative juices flowing. But anyway go check them out if you've got the time.

In the meantime I'm going to get back to work on the current chapter. But I could use a little help. I'm going to have Celestia send an investigator to the Orchard to determine the cause of the flying Apple Tree and I need game plan ideas for Apple Comet to run defense on. This will involve hiding his powers, dealing with the elephant in the room which is the rocket, the pendent and the crystal. And coming up with some convincing explanations that don't involve blowing his cover. Leave your suggestions in the comments below.

Well, before the detective actually arrives (his super-senses could pick up the detective's arrival several minutes in advance which, with his strength and speed, would actually be more time than he needs), he could use his super-strength and super-speed to move the rocket, pendant and crystal deep enough into the Everfree where said detective would be very unlikely to find it and then bury it in a twenty foot deep hole before covering his tracks with a full two minutes to spare. (loosely inspired by the first episode of the Krypto the Superdog cartoon series as well as Disney's animated 101 Dalmatians to a much lesser extent)

Then, once the detective actually arrives, simply act as normal as possible (i.e. no use of super-powers period).

As for explanations, well, I can't think of anything offhand. At least nothing that could fool an even moderately competent detective.
