And, for the "It's About Time" analogue, in addition to possibly meeting and sharing an adventure with the Legion of Super-Ponies, they could also be chasing and fighting a gang of super-powered bad guys called the Fatal Five who were hired as a distraction by that timeline's Opaline Arcana (who could have travelled back to both eliminate Comet BEFORE he grew to adulthood and also eliminate Twilight BEFORE she ascends). Comet, in addition to fighting for both HIS life AND Twilight's, is also trying to prevent any disasters Opaline tries to cause.
