I can't believe it but I've done it. I got a self-insert fic to the top of the featured list, even including porn stories. Mission accomplished, time to go home. It's been an honor.
Seriously, I can't express how funny I find this. I've spent two years working on one story and its gotten to...I think Sub capped at third. I've gotten on the list a few times aside from updating Sub and Twisted Fate but this? This is just...it's a silly little thing I put together over the course of a few days but just struck me as right. As I said in the comments of the story, I don't think Equestria would murder the oc's. It just doesn't match the temperament of the country's people. They may not want them, but they won't butcher them or push them away. They(Equestria)'d hope to find a place where they(Oc's) fit in.
I'll be adding a little to it, like a few short blurbs or stories, maybe even an encounter with a TRUE STU like from Consequences of Unoriginality. If anyone wants to add their own stories, feel free to PM me, or just make your own story altogether. Just leave a note where you got the idea from.

So you plan to make this a sort-of collab of silly stories?
I think it is not that surprising that your fic got to top. It is interesting for all groups in fimfic and you already have an established reader base. Combine this factors and you reach top.
Congrats. When I first saw this I thought it would be a Spongebob crossover with a city full of Gary's. Boy was I pleasantly surprised and fav'd it.
