    My schedule has slipped more than normal, chaotic as it already is. I partially psyched myself out with the big reunion between Diane and Aron/Alice.     The next chapter is ready to go shortly.

    As a consequence of personal growth I now have all of the bad habits and none of the excuses for the timetable. What I can say is that I've been looking forward to writing some of the upcoming scenes for years. This is a strange thing I do—that I still don't believe when I explain it to myself. Thank you all who are crazy enough to stick with me!

Update 6/22 (and also Chaotic Emergence) · 3:29am Jun 23rd, 2017

Borrowed Time #24 is finished. My editors have gone through most of it already, so it should be up fairly soon. It was the toughest chapter I've ever had to write, and that probably says more about my state of mind than it does about the chapter :unsuresweetie: Transition chapters are tougher for me in general, though. If pattern holds, the next one shouldn't take nearly as long.

Also, while I wasn't looking, Chaotic Emergence got to fifty votes :yay: To celebrate I'll start writing a new chapter for it. My goal is 300 words a day, so I can get it done in a month as a side project.
