Art Competition

So I've been mulling this idea over for a while now... How many of you would be interested in / know someone who would be interested in an art competition? I've been wanting more art for Flight, and I think this would be a fun way of commissioning some. Here's what I'm thinking:

$100 First Prize
$50 Second Prize
$25 Third Prize
and then several $5 prizes and many $1 prizes for honorable mentions.

So what do you think? How many people do you think I could get to apply? Do you think it's a good idea? If so, I'd love it if you'd forward the idea to some of your favorite artists.

So I haven't decided formally, but I was thinking the official announcement for the competition would be when I release the next chapter (I'm aiming for monthly releases, so that'd be around 11 July).

The prompt would be any kind of art for Flight, my magnum opus. Anything related to it would be accepted. Safe for Woona. Though Flight is SFW anyway, so I'd hope that if someone made art based on it, it'd be SFW as well... xD

Due to my lack of a computer I can't really do too much. Unless a short 3 or so second animation in flipaclip or something on paper is acceptable.

Hehehe well most of my art is handdrawn anyway. You're more than welcome to submit something anyway. You can always take a picture and upload it. Not to mention an animation would be freaking amazing!

And of course, you may know other artists who may be interested, and you could invite them to participate. I don't think I'll formally announce this until mid-July though. Depends on how many people are interested...
