With the rise of new technology comes improvements to old machines, in the most famous case, this had been the redesigning and improvement of the Pokeball and its variations.
Pokeball, Great Ball, and Ultra Ball: These 3 Pokeballs have all been redesigned to more grip friendly and flies better when thrown, aside from that these new Pokeballs are also more comfortable for the Pokémon inside them, the environment inside the Pokémon can now be compared to a pseudo virtual reality habitat that caters to the species of Pokémon.
Heal Ball: Aside from healing the Pokémon the Pokémon immediately caught, this Pokeball will also heal any status afflictions and restore lost HP overtime when it is recalled to the ball after a battle.
Luxury Ball: Keeping its feature of making your Pokémon more friendly towards its trainer, the new Luxury Ball now has the added feature of relieving after battle stress on a Pokémon when it losses a battle.
Premier Ball: While nothing much has changed aside from the design, this Premier Ball now has a more dazzling release animation when calling out a Pokémon.
Net Ball: The improved Net ball has been upgraded to now be effective on Flying type Pokémon in addition to Water and Bug types.
Dive Ball: The Dive Ball now lives up to its name in that micro pulses emitters allow the ball to move faster when underwater, it also has limited tracking.
Timer Ball: The Timer Ball has been changed in that it now absorbs the excess energy created by battling as time goes on, the more the battle continues, the stronger it will be upon capture.
Dusk Ball: The Dusk Ball now works better on moonlit nights by absorbing lunar light. It also has a homing feature that allows it to be thrown in the dark with a less chance of missing.
Master Ball: While the Master Ball still has a %100 catch rate, it has one major change that caters to Legendary to Mythical Pokémon, it will no longer restrict or reduce their power upon capture.
