I write pony words that people seem to like. I also review fics and draw purty pictures, apperently. I'm an older fan of MLP, so expect a lot of 80's references.

Welp, it's been a YEAR, down to the DAY, since my last blog post.

This means nothing, I was just noticing the dates.

But while I got you here, I'm gonna throw up some SFW art I've done recently.

It's 2am on Thursday, and I have an idea for NEW Pinkie Pie Loves Bacon Bits content. (plus ARTPOSTING#3)

I woke up with a fully formed idea for a new chapter in my silly anthology of scenes where Sunset Shimmer is haunted by pony!Pinkie lodged DEEPLY in my mind and I think I'm going to write it. I'm in a writerly mood. Apparently.

Are you still in a Spooky mood?

This flew under my radar yesterday, so I just woke up to find it and it is just as sweet as all that discounted candy! Give it a listen and pop over to Lostus's page and drop a like or a comment or something. This is top tier work!

Wordposting (Really a 6K word long 'scene' and a half from the OF I'm working on)

I posted a little section of this last blog, but I think I'm happy where this is at right now. Obviously this takes place in the midst of a larger narrative, so there might be some/a lot of context that's lost here, but the gist is a couple of priests and a warlock form up an adventuring party and before they even have their first outing, some shit goes down at the tavern.

    10 years of this.

Happy birthday to the version of Pony that made my life more than a little brighter.

These hoofed ruminates (and their humanoid counterparts) will always have a special place in my heart.

Starswirl knew nothing of friendship.
-
Cadance nodded smartly, dozens of crates each stamped with the simple logo of ACME of Equestria laid out before her, and levitated a crowbar up to eye level.
-
"While dragging you to the bottom will be sweet, I’m glad I don’t have to savor it with the taste of vomit in my mouth."
-
They spy the Crystal Palace on the horizon, smoke rising.
-
What she didn’t love was the spongy looking gland and shaft poking out from her fist at counter height.
-
She gestured at the door in her best Vanna White impression, giggling when the VP lifted her long, ribbed skirt slightly, and honest-to-god curtsied.
-
After the train leaves, she breaks down.
-
Chrysalis is just a regular changeling.
-
“I would have broken down long ago and just jumped your feathers if you’d told me you had any interest in me like this.”
-
Blueblood was shadier than my night could ever be.
-
“Story of my life really...trying too hard to impress ponies, shove more power than I need to into a forbidden time warping spell...yada yada yada.”

All of these are single sentences from different fics I am working on. The problem with having fics for days is picking which one you want to actually write. Internet cookies if you can guess where any of these purposefully context-less one liners come from. Right now, I'm just gonna try putting one word after the next.

Stay classy.

Okay.

You got me.

I'm intrigued.

The tribe wanders the earth, gathering food, gathering materials, and they dream of ways to appease the gods.

"...And there is, perhaps, no greater threat to the modern pony than the alicorn: young mares, typically unicorns, taken from their families by decree of ancient rite and subjected to a combination of dark ritual, eldritch elixir, and potent mutagen under the justification of producing the ultimate hunter of monsters."

Long, long ago, when the Sun and Moon danced through the sky under their own power, and the creatures of the earth grazed and roamed on great plains and sheltered in enormous forests and sun-beaten jungles, the dragons lived."

They came from the darkness of a cold winter night like moths to a flame, chitin hard like polished bone and eyes aglow with malice.

They were pretty far-off when Wendell first saw them, but they stuck out like sore thumbs all the same– bright greens and purples and reds and blues, like a glam rock group or some shit, a welcome reprieve in the monotonous, murky-green landscape of corn stalks.

Some of mine.

Ooh...nice! I like that second one particularly.

Long before the era of Twilight Sparkle and Spike, there was another young unicorn who found friendship with a dragon, and managed to save both of their races from a terrible war of extermination in the process.

That sum good sentence

And then the murders began.
