    Adulting is hard.

Buying a house is hard. Just saying that right now.

    So some minor improvements.

We have a new person at work, and they appear to be getting used to the job quite quickly. My phone, meanwhile, has been fixed, and I have gone to great effort to thank my current phone provider for having so much better customer service than my previous provider.

Househunting is still ongoing, but even that appears to be making some positive progress.

    I don't think it's getting better.

So the good news is that we have a new supervisor at my job. The bad news is that one, the new supervisor is sick with something and her doctors are failing to help her get better, and two, the job is taking its sweet time hiring anyone new. This coupled with various unforeseen factors led to last week being a pain in the hindquarters at work. Plus, my househunting isn't going well, and my phone

I think my job is trying to give me PTSD.

I was awoken by a phone call this morning. Work asked me to come in, as things were crazy. I did so, was there from around 9:30 AM to 6PM. Worked without a lunch break, I might add.

    The Moral Event Horizon.

Gonna discuss another trope today in relation to the Quiververse. In this case, it's the Moral Event Horizon. In simple terms, this is the point a character passes that forever marks them as EVIL and potentially irredeemable. TVTropes itself lists a few examples from FiM, and I won't repeat them here...though I will say that

Per a suggestion, I've opened up for questions to characters in the Quiververse. They'll be included in a future chapter for the Quiververse Blooper Reel.

So if you've got a non-spoilery question, feel free to ask!

Before I submit questions to the cast, I have two questions about the questions:

1: Do the questions have to relate to the events of the stories in the Quiververse? Because the questions I have are more about headcanon and worldbuilding.

2: Are we limited to just one question, or can we ask multiple?

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like, and feel free to pose the headcanon and worldbuilding questions.

Alright, then.

Before I ask anything, note that, unless I specify otherwise, my questions are directed to the pony version of the character.

First question is to the Ponyville branch of the Apple family. Back in season 2 of the show, it was established that, in addition to apple trees, you also grow corn on your farm. Is that also a cash crop for you, or is that for your own consumption?

Next, a couple of question for Rainbow Dash. Just how fast do you need to fly in order to trigger a Sonic Rainboom? And is pulling it off a matter of pure speed, or is there some magical component to it? Also, if it isn't too much of a sore spot for you, could you share whether there was any fallout over the Mare Do Well incident that we didn't see in the episode?

Two questions for Pinkie now. First, since it's been established that sixth senses run in your family, can anyone else in your family also see past the fourth wall, or is that unique to you? Second, regarding your party cave, is the slide the only way in or out? Or is there an alternate way out for anyone who might accidentally stumble upon it and lack your physics-defying capabilities?

Next one I have questions for is Fluttershy. First, something that's bugged me since season 1. I know that your job involves taking care of animals. But what, exactly, is your job? What is it you do that you're being paid for, and who is it that's paying you? On a different note, since the show is quite inconsistent regarding the details, I have some questions about your Stare. First, what exactly is it? Is it just a very intimidating glare, or is there some mind control component to it? If the latter, then does it work on sapient creatures? And is it completely involuntary, or are you able to use it at will? Or is it that you can only use it in certain scenarios, but you control whether you use it in said scenarios?

Next, a question directed to Celestia and Cadance. What, exactly, is the Crystal Empire's status in relation to Equestria? Is it an allied nation? A vassal state? A province of Equestria? Also, why is it called an empire if it only consists of one city?

Now, a couple questions for Twilight. This is probably a sensitive topic for you, but if you're up to it, I have a couple questions about the Smarty Pants incident. First, from where or from whom did you learn the Want-It-Need-It spell? Second, after you cast said spell on Smarty Pants, you commented that the spell "works every time". How, exactly, have you established that?

Finally, a question to Celestia and Luna. In the show, even now, Celestia is the only one who has a throne in Canterlot Palace. Is this the state of affairs in the Quiververse as well, or does Luna have a throne here as well?

That's all I've got for now. Technically I still have more, but those either fall under spoiler territory, or would be a cover to take cheap shots at Luna, Cadance, and Rarity.

4567792 All good questions. Answers will come as soon as possible.

So, has anyone else sent in any questions?

4571963 diablo4000 has sent me several via note, so you're not the only one.

I guess I have a question for Sunset? And I suppose that any of the other CHS peeps can answer this question too:

You caught a brief glimpse of a second Twilight and some other alicorn no one's ever seen. Can I get your thoughts on that?

That's a good question, and one Sunset and many others will be glad to answer.
