me checking the dislike ratio on my new story

Glad to know bigotry is still alive and well in this fandom.

It's glad to see some of us didn't watch the same series as I did.

    So where I've been

Okay, uh... how do I begin this? Well, I suppose I should start with the obvious. Yes, I've been distracted. If you follow me on Archive that should be obvious. And if you don't, you totally should btw. Yes, I'm shameless.

    Final chapter up

Been a hell of a ride, honestly. I just apologize for dragging it on for so long.

You ever get one of THOSE stories? You know the one, the one that sticks out like a sore thumb, not seemingly cared about by anyone. It just sits there, and makes you wonder if continuing it is really a good waste of your time. That's how I feel right now. I'm not naming the story, but honestly I've poured hours of work into it, and yet it hasn't even reached 100 views. For a multi chapter story, that's... Really depressing. I know I generally write for fun, but it sorta takes the fun out of writing a story when you know barely anyone will care for it anyways. They say they'll keep an eye on it, but how am I supposed to know that when they don't comment beyond the first chapter? How I am supposed to know they care at all if that happens? Honestly, is the story really worth continuing?

...I'm sorry for wasting your valued time with this bout of depression, but I really needed to get this off my chest.

*hugs you*

That's life for ya, dude... sometimes effort expended doesn't = reward. It's like performing the most amazing magic trick ever... when no-one's watching. It's frustrating, but you'll get used to it.

I know exactly how you feel with a couple of my stories. But you know what? I keep writing not because I want somebody to finally notice it, but because I have a story to tell.

Dude just write for you not for fame.

Happens to me often, just keep writing. (I stopped and people started popping out of nowhere asking if they were to continue.)
