I love my wife, but I am *not happy* with her right now. · 5:45pm May 30th, 2017
Nightshift means sleeping during the day. Been having some difficulty sleeping. Then she calls me just before 10am, in hysterical tears. She said she totaled the car.
Just got back from dealing with all the whatnot. ...I don't know what to do with her. This is the second time this calendar year she's rear-ended somebody, but this time it was fast enough to bust up the front end of the new(er) car considerably. She was on a four-lane, coming up to a stop, but was distracted by somebody being a schmuck with their door open...did not see the lady switch into her lane...who decided to pounce her brakes then. Despite of that stupidity, guess who gets assigned the legal blame nigh unto every friggin' time there's a rear-ending. The car may be a total loss, and the sad part of that is financially it'd be cheaper on us were it so. If we weren't pressed for cash before....
Have to remind m'self to be thankful that there were no serious injuries. All m' wife got was burns from the airbag, though we'll be watching for any further symptoms of concussion, since whiplash can cause that (just checked). The other lady isn't suing, and if she tried now after refusing medical treatment at the scene, it won't go well for her. Things could be much worse.
Really liked that car, though....
I am glad to hear that your wife is safe. That's the most important thing.
Maybe she should take a driving course or something? Or just don't let her drive.
My friend's wife won't let him drive anywhere for similar reasons. She drives her husband everywhere.
remember a car can be replaced, your wife can not.
glade to hear she is ok.
now as to second time this calendar year she's rear-ended somebody, #2 that close to gather you will propyl lose your insurance or it is going to triple.
I hate to say it like that but it is the truth and more then likely she will have to go to driving school.
but that is how it works hear in PA.
