    Episode reviews: Uprooted/ Between Dark and Dawn/ A Trivial Pursuit

    Okay, quick talk about three episodes. I know I haven't been doing these weekly but I am behind on mlp. Season 8 wasn't... as good as I would have hoped so I stopped keeping track each week. My bad. Season 9, from what I've seen, has picked up the slack. So there's some positive. I'm going to try and watch at least 2 or 3 episodes a day until I get caught up. Don't worry, I'll be ready for the

    Episode Review: Father Knows Best/School Raze

    1: Father Knows Best

    Well this is it folks. I have finally finished season 8.... I think it's my least favorite season. Not entirely bad, but just not as good as others. I'm surprised really. I never thought I'd see a day I'd like a season less then season 4 but here it is. So let's start off by going over the last two episodes of this season shall we?

    New Chapter coming soon (The Greatest Treasure/Fate Pony)

    Heyo everyone. It seems I've got my writing mojo back. Well now I've finally started the next chapter of TGT and my Fate pony fic. They should be done by the weekend if not tomorrow. I hope it'll be worth the wait.

    (Spoiler review) What Lies Beneath

    Still need to catch up on season 8. Don't worry. I won't be out of the loop once season 9 ends. I plan on binging the show until then. So hopefully I'll get a review done a day. So let's start with this one.

{Note: While I am going to upload the rest of the units, I felt there were a few races I forgot to mention that will pop up sometime in the future.}

1: Reindeer

Born and raised in the frozen tundra, Reindeer are a hardy bunch. They are incredibly tough, but still very quick and aren't keen on sharing their home with others as they have a past of several invasions. Each one of them was stopped by the deadly winter of their home, Reissia. Because of this, they are experts when it comes to fighting in cold terrain and eventually using the weather as a teacher, using their magic in ways that could shift it in their favor to help them defend their homes.

Their magic is as strong as a unicorns, allowing them to perform a number of feats. However, they mostly focus on weather magic and are the master of self-levitation. Whereas only a portion of the unicorn population can do so and to varying degrees, Reindeer can naturally use their magic to levitate themselves. This gives them the ability to fight from the air as well as the ground.

While they are distrustful of letting others in, they are very eager to go out and meet with other nations. Their bombastic personalities have earned them a number of allies over the years. As well, they have let up on how they treat outsiders and the current Tzar, Peter the Great, is currently doing his best to modernize his nation to keep up with the rest of the world.

2: Irish Elk

The Elk of the island nation of Éire are even more boisterous then their more brutish Reindeer cousins. The largest of the deer family, Irish Elk are notorious drinkers. Given how big they are, they need to produce quite a bit of it which has allowed them many trials and errors over the centuries. This has allowed them to become the world's best at beer and other alcoholic beverages. Something they are very proud of.

They are renowned partiers and many of the greatest parties in history have been supervised by an Elk of the island Éire. Their friendly personalities do a good job at winning over others. It is even said that they won over Chrysalis herself back when she had a body thousands of years ago. This is why she and the changeling race took up the Gaelic language and eventually adopted a similar accent to their beloved Elk. The same for their descendants.

Their abilities, apart from their immense size and power, come from their druidic principles. While the Reindeer are very heavy on using magic to bend nature to their will, Irish Elk are the opposite and more often then not, simply let nature itself guide them through the motions. This can explain their more carefree personalities. However, they do tend to use their abilities to keep their island home safe from invaders by the way of horrible sea weather. This has sunk a number of would be invasions, mostly by the griffons.

Concerning the Elk, any chance of introducing one based on JackSepticEye?

He’s Irish, he’s hilarious, and I can’t believe you’ve never heard of him before.
