What I'm up to · 11:21pm May 26th, 2017
To put it simply, I am writing again. I've got a couple things in the works at the moment, I'll get to them later in the post. Life is a little crazy right now, so I can't write as much as I would like to. Also, for the time being, I'm going to write what comes to me. That could be brand new stuff, it could be continuing one of my older stories. I'm not at a place where I can even think of grinding out chapters for something. Writing is my escape right now, and I don't want to make it a chore.
So, here's whats going on for each story I have published:
Waring, contains some spoilers.
Stargazing Together: I'm working on a brand new chapter. It takes place right after the end of the last chapter. One of my big issues looking back is Nightmare fell in love with Twilight after only meeting her twice. She's supposed to be a little unstable and all, but that didn't feel even remotely real. The part where Nightmare flies Twilight home and tucks her into bed is still going to happen, but after quite a bit more between them. Enough that an emotionally starved Nightmare will grow attached to Twilight, but not enough for Twilight to return those feelings.
Right now, I've got about a thousand words or so. I've been working on it here and there, but it's kinda languising. I'm going to put it on the back burner for a little bit, give myself some breathing room, and work on some other stuff. I haven't taken it off Hiatus because I knew this might happen.
I will keep working on it, don't worry. I just don't want to force it.
The Price of Power:
So this is what has been bouncing around my head for the last few days. I read back over it and thought of something. What if Twilight is never able to forgive Celestia for what she did? I'm not saying she doesn't understand, just that Twilight can't get over it.Hopefully after the next few chapters, which will have a good number of flash backs, you'll see why. Basically, Twilight spent years working to get into that school, working to be poweful enough. Then, just when she's about to, Celestia, in Twilight's eyes at least, steals her magic and she has to start all over. Going into this, she has kinda defined herself by her magical ability, so loosing all of it is pretty serious for her.
I've been writing this in my head over the last few days. I've got a ton to put down, and I'm really enjoying the direction I'm planning to go.
Everything else:
Right now, I've only got plans for those two stories. If I think of something for a different one, I'll write it up, post it, and let you all know. For now though, I got nothing.
Im just happy your back to writing, no matter how long it takes to get updates or new stories, at least they are coming
