Yeah, sorry folks. I got halfway through my break week before realizing that I'd given no heads up for this one. Whoops.
So anyway, I've decided not to watch Season 7... yet. Realizing it's been a long while since I've really indulged in teh pone showz, I have instead made the decision to rewatch all of MLP:FiM from the beginning, at a rate of an episode a day (today's episode: Sonic Rainboom). With any luck the first half of Season 7 will be up on iTunes by the time I finally get caught up. I gotta admit, I forgot how silly the first season was. It's interesting to think about how episodes have been in recent years and realize how the show has evolved.
Of course, this means lots of potential spoilers for Season 7 are gonna be in my face, but that's inevitable and I find I don't mind at all.
Going back to writing stuff: as of yesterday I finished the next chapter of Order of Shadows, and I'm hoping to have it posted this weekend. That, however, will depend heavily upon whether or not I go to see my parents for Mother's Day – which is very likely. either way, it's time for me to get back to work on the story I'm most interested in: Bulletproof Heart. I should also get back to some of my other stories before too long, namely Derp and Songbird, the former of which was nearing completion when I got diverted. What was I thinking, having so many stories going at once? 
Whelp, I've got some things to do and some people to call, so I'll end this here. Reviews continue next week!

The episodes are available on iTunes by the Monday morning after their first showing on Discovery Kids. So the first five episodes of Season 7 are purchasable even as I type this.

Oookay then. Now I've gotta wonder if the entire season will be finished by the time I finish watching all 6 seasons. Which... would be ideal, come to think of it, even if I end up missing all the conversation about whatever happens in the season finale.
