These were both on Everyone Wants to Have Sex With Twilight Sparkle over on fanfiction.net. I don't know who these guys are, but they've reaffirmed my suspicions that most people aren't worth the carbon they consist of.

When I published my first clopfic (one that involved Luna, a stallion, and copious amounts of aptly named forcey fun time), I got two messages that stuck out. The first condemned me for the story, saying that they wouldn't wish rape on their worst enemy, and the second said they really enjoyed the read.
It was funny beyond measure.
4523306 I always loved seeing the juxtaposition of one reader who immediately flies into a rage over the content of the story (which I'm sure you gave ample warning for, and, even if you didn't, they should be able to tell) and then the other who sees the piece of fiction for what it is: a piece of fiction.
Like, I never understood why you should be condemned for writing a story about rape. I mean, you're not telling people to go out and do it, are you? Just because someone writes a story about Hitler doesn't mean he was like "You know, that Adolf dude gets a bad rap, I'm thinking he was on to something when he ordered the death of all those Jews".
People are fucking stupid sometimes, and it truly is hilarious to me.

ah fanfiction.net, how you never cease to amuse. I posted there in the past, and will again in the future if I ever get off my ass and write non-pony-words, but the sheer vitriol found there is pretty damn impressive.
when I first came to this site, I joined because you needed an account to post comments and I found that level of accountability to be refreshing.
