"You're not a burden, my love" Simon comforted his partner, Prince Lucian. "You're all 7,634,420,069,142,002,387,487,862,912 stars in my sky, Luce. And I love how brightly you shine"

Another Milestone... · 12:00am Apr 10th, 2017

750 blogs... I feel like only yesterday I was posting my 400th... now I've already got almost twice that many. As a bonus... I'll tell you a little bit more about my Star Points system. As any Paper Mario fan knows, Star Points are like EXP... 100 equals 1 level, and every time you level up, you earn less than you did per enemy than you did before. As any TTYD fan knows... there are ranks associated with levels... and reaching higher ranks lets you have a bigger crowd come to your stage and watch your battles. But that's not the important part... the important part is what this has to do with my Star Points system... well... it works the same way! Except that things decrease in value slower, so instead of every level or two, it's more like every two or three levels depending on the thing you're doing to earn the points. Read how to get them after the break...

There are seven different ways to earn Star Points now, and there might be more later.

1) Catching references... payout: 1-10 depending on the obscurity of the reference and your current level
2) Giving me advice... payout: 1-30 depending on the quality of the advice and your current level
3) Accepting advice I give... and following it... payout: 1-30 depending on the importance of the advice, how well you follow it, and your current level
4) Writing an awesome story... payout: 1-100 depending on the awesomeness of the story and your current level
5) Adding a new cheeapter to an existing story of yours... payout: 1-50 depending on the quality of the cheeapter and your current level
6) Trading other point types... payout: 2-25 depending on the type of points and having nothing to do with your current level (Stache = 5, Derp = 10, Pinkie Smile = 15, Pinkamena = 20, and ask me personally about other types)
7) Recommending my stories... payout: 10-100 depending on how big of a crowd you draw, how much better-liked the story is after your recommendation, and having nothing to do with your current level

And there are several (more than just 7 anyways) reasons you want the Star Points... I'll list the first 3 that come to my mind

1) Permission to mess with my stories... the higher the level you reach, the more you're allowed to... and the more likely I'll accredit you for it, which could make you famous... on Fimfiction anyways
2) Proof of your friendship... if you're a higher level, it shows that you can at least pretend to care about me enough to be my friend... and I will treat you nicer... probably
3) General fame and stuff.. kinda goes with #1 but I'll say it again... YOU CAN GET FAMOUS BY BEING MY FAN!!!!!
