You may think it standard, simple, not worth your time. While the last assertion may be true, the previous two are blatant falsehoods. There is much more to a 'story' than just 'beginnings' and 'ends,' there are journeys, extensions, and harsh truths to be found around every corner. Something wicked this way comes, except it comes from all directions, surrounding, suffocating, extinguishing. The idea of evil - as arbitrary as it may be even in the most clearly 'defined' circumstances - will be tossed around like a bean bag on some acrobat's heel. There will be 'heroes,' and there will be villains. But beyond that, there will be the grey area, those who are neither, who are victims, results, or just doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, or vice versa.
Who I am is not important at this time - I am merely your guide as you step into this new world. It is not a job I relish - It is merely a fact of the matter. I was the only logical choice for the matter, chosen by a committee of one. You will learn to hate me, love me, or be indifferent - I could care less about your pathetic emotional attachments. I am merely here to inform you, to keep you on your toes, nothing more.
In this world where nothing is quite as it seems, where the lines of morality you are so used to simply don't exist, you will find many competing minds vying for power in eternal foolish endeavors. Such minds are always shallow, pathetic, and deeply concerning for the true fate of things.
So, I do not know why you read, that is beyond me. But soon you will be given the option to enter. Perhaps entering is a foolish idea, best left alone, never to be considered. Or perhaps it is best that all see, look, and discover. Such a hypothetical question cannot be answered in definite - either a person enters, or doesn't, they cannot experience both options. Either side is a risk.
