How about a sad fic. One with a person who's life is the equivalent of a puppy that has been kicked repeatedly with exactly no chance of being happy again. Those are the really fun ones. Like if applebloom lost her granny, AJ dies on a friendship mission, and Big Mac hangs himself out of depression from family loss and cheerilee not actually loving him, aka easily the saddest thing that could happen leaving bloom traumatized and alone.
