Update on HLW 4/1/17 · 4:28pm Apr 1st, 2017
Hello, my dear readers.
I come before you today to deliver an announcement on the future of How Love Works. This is something I had been mulling over for quite some time so I shall give it to you straight. I am going to once again rewrite the entire story. It has come to my attention that HLW is quite lacking in some areas.
First things first, I will need to alter Shining armor so that he isn't a total asshole and is totally on board with Chryssy joining in from time to time. Secondly, more sex scenes as I have been rather conservative with them and i know that's what you're all really here for. Thirdly, I need to create some OCs to go with the story. Don't worry, they won't be red and black alicorns, but instead charcoal and fire colored pegacorn-earth pony hybrids. Finally, there will be a lot of fourth wall breaking due to Pinkie and Discord because who doesn't love references to obscure 80s shows? Beyond all of that, I may add cosmetic changes like different color dialogue and a bit of purple prose (or orange prose bc I like oranges), and maybe a couple plot holes or Deus (VULT) ex Machina stuff to really speed the story along.
I think this story could really benefit from all these wonderful changes, don't you?

While you are making changes, I have a suggestion about "Queen" Chrysalis and the status of "Queens" and "Princesses" in Changeling society:
In social insect species with reproductive division of labour, a queen is a fertile female or, more loosely, a female who is due to become fertile later in her lifecycle (hence terms like proto-queen). In fact, queen is etymologically derived from the proto-Indo-European root meaning "femaleness"; cognates include gyne- (as in gynecology) and cunt (via the Latin "cunnus"). Hence, for Changelings, whose language is descended from Proto-Hippo-Equestrian, fertile females are given the honorific "cunt"; they have no idea why ponies find this so funny.
A hive can have many queens, but they always have a single leader, the "first queen" or "princess" (from Latin princeps, "first").
