Brilliant! Really needs another chapter, though.
Obvious continuation idea is obvious.
Shining admits to his wife that he really liked the present and ask if she could do it again next anniversary, and as it would terns out, the unstolen love was so much more powerful then Christelis had expected, that it would be enough to last until the next aniversary. This inevitably leads to stronger relation between the two kingdoms . . .so long as Cadence and Christelis can keep the secret.
But people then begin to question why the two kingdoms have suddenly become so close and then some bad guy or girl threatens to let the cat out of the beg and the two are forced to confess the whole thing to Shining. Then Shining, Cadence and Christilist all team up to kill the bad guy.

3183171 Most plausible idea first then.Cristalis uses the magic covering spell or whatever to hide her true form from X important male figure or x important futa character XD. But that is all I can assume from some of the stuff you did foreshadow.
But if you are not nice to your characters, I can only assume that chrysalis will somehow end up killed or something . . .
Or maybe she gets ridiculously powerful from all that love and well you know what they say about great power . . .
The third idea which is a bit of a mix of the two. Chrysalis uses her newfound power to brainwash BOTH of them and so then can continue to feed off from them until she starts to miss the way it was when the love was true. so she ends up slowly going mad until she kills herself.
Also an idea for a plot Twist: Who we thought was Cadance was really Chrysalis and vise versa. See she actually DID fail to convince the queen to go along with her plan. But instead she was brainwashed to think she was Chrysalis. makes sense right?
I know what you are thinking, and the answer is yes, I am completely insane.
