Masterverse Timeline: Generation 1 · 11:24pm Mar 24th, 2017
Note: I have already begun writing chapter 2, but due to my job it won't be a priority until after Sunday. Until then I shall give you the first timeline blog which will help expand the lore and history of the Masterverse without having to explain it through exposition via the story.
Generation 1, a.k.a. the events of Pokemon Red and Blue begin with a young girl named Leaf going on her Pokemon journey around the same time as her childhood friends Red, Gary "Blue" Oak, and Ash Ketchum. Leaf, Red, and Blue would pick Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle as their starter Pokemon respectively, with Ash receiving Pikachu due to waking up late. While Leaf, Red, and Blue would go on their journeys alone, Ash would be tagged along by a girl named Misty due to the fact that he inadvertently destroyed her bike.
Whenever any of the four trainers from Pallet Town met up with each other, they would battle to see who is the strongest, most of the time Blue would beat all of them while the rest mostly had a 50/50 win loss ratio with anyone else. Along the way they would encounter the villainous crime organization known as Team Rocket with Ash having more regular encounters with a certain trio of Rocket grunts. Leaf would be instrumental in liberation of the Pokemon Tower while Red and Blue dealt with the takeover of the Silph Co., after which they all received the Earth Badge from Giovanni at the Viridian Gym minus Ash who got it in a similar manner to EP063, it is also around this time that the events of the first Pokemon Movie happened.
With all the required Gym badges in hand, the four trainers participate in the Indigo Plateau Conference where the trainers who come in the top 10 may have the opportunity to battle the Elite Four, the competition ends with Ash coming in at 16th place while Blue, Red, and Leaf come in at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Blue would go on to challenge the Elite Four and become the Champion, Red would later show up and take that title shortly after, however Leaf who had done a little more training after the conference would defeat Red in an intense battle making her the third person to hold the title of Kanto Champion as well as the longest in recent years.
Following the events at the Pokemon League, the four Trainers would go their separate ways with Ash going to the Johto Region to compete in its League, Red going to Mt. Silver to train, Blue taking over as Gym Leader of Viridian City, while Leaf would hold the position of Kanto Champion before going to travel to other regions in search of new challenges.
