Just wrapping up Lab Horse with a ribbon of insanity.
Here's the basic premise:
Gadget enters the portal, dragging Delmar along because no one else in the scientific community respects him anymore.
Portal is one-way at the moment, but Gadget goes against the warnings and heads through anyways.
A miscalculation leads to Gadget and Delmar finding themselves on a space station instead.
The two work together to try and get back, as well as collaborating with astronauts and scientists onboard on various problems.
Eventually, the portal re-opens in the same location, and is now two-way after a stabilization issue is resolved.
Sequel to Space Horse: Equestrian Human? Idunno exactly what the name would be just yet.
Gadget and Delmar find themselves in equestria, only, just like the EqG portal, Gadget finds herself as a human girl, and Delmar is suddenly a pony. Neither of them really care about that, considering the craziness they've been through, but Gadget misses her magic, and occasionally travels back through the portal to use her magic.
Upon learning that Equestria is indeed real, humans decide to attempt to set up trade relations with Equestria, and in the meantime, Gadget and Delmar find themselves tied up into political mumbo-jumbo.
The two eventually decide to begin working on trying to get their own bodies back, even though they're both accustomed to their current form by this point.
End of trilogy.
