Time for That Break · 2:36pm Mar 19th, 2017
So, you guys remember me mentioning a little vacation coming up? Well, today is day one of that. So for the next three weeks, I don't intend to read anything pony... unless I just happen to feel like it. No reviews will be written and my review status shall be static. However, this does not mean a stop to the reviews, oh no. I managed to get far enough ahead that I'll be able to post at least two blogs over the next three weeks. Maybe three, depending upon certain external circumstances.
Granted, this isn't a 'real' vacation; I'm still going to work and all that usual real-life stuff. But I promised myself a long break after finishing Project Horizons, and I finally managed that yesterday. Speaking of which, I don't suppose anyone out there knows of some stories that expand upon the events mentioned in the epilogue? Finished stories, that is; I have no intention of touching Homelands until it's actually, y'know, done. Barring that, I'll take any decent FO:E-related stories. There's so many of them out there now that there's bound to be some good ones, and let's face it; it's hard to leave the wasteland.
In the meantime, I aim to take advantage of this long break to do some writing. I wasn't able to get much done this week (so no update to Order of Shadows, sorry), but I hope to get some proper work done now that I don't have to worry about reading at all. Maybe I'll get lucky and finally finish one of those short stories! Or I could work on 'fixing' my recent Writeoff entry and see if I can't sell it in some fashion, although I've been thinking about creating a compilation of shorts for the same purpose.
Eh, things to think on. I've got some writing to do!
Swear I just saw a fic that had a Project Horizons pre-title, but I can't find it. :B They're probably out there, is what I'm saying.
I wonder how it feels to drop something you've been doing for so long now. Reading ponyfic must be a deeply engrained habit by now, no? Anyway, I'm sure you'll be able to fill the time with fun and worthwhile things. (Maybe) see you in the writeoffs! :)

Well, that's certainly good to know. Consider I see a new FO:E story roughly once a day, I imagine I'll see something that tickles my fancy eventually.
