How to Deal With an Account Made by a You Who Hasn't Existed for Seven Years

Today is my seven year anniversary of joining this site. While I haven't posted on here in a while and am conspicuously not looking at any specific story I keep telling myself I'll get back to one day, I have still been somewhat active in reading on this site. The more time that's gone on, though, the stranger it is to look at the stories I have here, and not just because one of those stories is

This Blog is About The Immortal's Burden

tl;dr up front: No, it isn't getting a sequel unless I get an idea I feel is good enough to follow it up.

So I've seen some comments asking me to make a sequel for The Immortal's Burden, and they have a couple upvotes, so it seems like at least a few people want this. I'm sorry to bear bad news, but that's probably not going to happen for a couple reasons.

What's Half an Inch Long and Stuck in My Root Canal?

Gosh, it's been an interesting two weeks.

In terms of good news, I got a chapter of Hourglass posted, cementing myself into a monthly update schedule! I don't think I've ever been this proud to be this pathetic. Hopefully when the story picks up, so will my schedule. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.

Like Sands Through The Hourglass, This Is My Mental State

Okay, so at the start of November I started posting my story Hourglass for NaNoWriMo. I already had some chapters written when I published the story so I could have a buffer in case I missed some writing in my planned every-other day schedule. I had preplanned individual chapters far ahead to reduce time in brainstorming and writing.

A Belated Thank-You · 1:56am Mar 15th, 2017

Right then, I'm finally in my spring break and my uni work-load has dropped to zero, so I should probably sit down to write a thank-you blog for The Immortal's Burden now that it's been...

Seven months? What?

Well. Uhhh. I certainly feel silly now.

In any case, thank you to everybody who liked, favorited, or otherwise bookshelved The Immortal's Burden! When I wrote it, my only goal was to be ranked in the top five-ish of the contest I submitted it to. Jumping ahead in time to today, the story has just recently hit ~5,500 views and ~800 likes, which still blows my mind every time I look at it. Thanks to all of you for giving this story a great run.

On an unrelated side note, I've almost finished the opening chapters of a long-term multi-chapter project of mine, and may or may not be posting that soon. Considering my idea of "soon" is apparently "sometime within the next year or so" though, I don't want to make any exact promises that I can't keep.

See you "soon." :trollestia:
