Cinder Logs #1; Horse Date: 5 days before Martius Ides, year 2770 since the founding of the Rome.
Current Social Status: After lurking for *classified* amount of days the infiltration of the site was a success. However due to the lack of central hub in form of forums it has been a slow process integrating any further. For the most part Social Groups seem to be for the most part inactive, at least on social level. Majority of people seem only interested in advertising their own stories (which is understandable) but there are definitely socially active individuals.
Further investigation needed, objectives being real time chat and perhaps crossing to EqD forum and branching out from the confines of this site.
Story Status: First story "Tell Me Sweet Apple Lies" was published on Tuesday (Martius Nones) and the results were as predicted though still a bit underwhelming. It would appear that once story is out for the public it has short window of opportunity to be seen by users and generate comments and likes. Initial estimation of importance of picture and 250 word description was woefully underestimated and will be taken under the consideration along with different day of the week.
As for story itself it is reasonable conclusion that is mediocre (which is why the premise was chosen for the first story) at best but lack of any significant input will hamper improvement for the future projects.
Next course of action will be finishing two more stories of similar value to gain more data. First hopefully to be done this month will be story featuring Lyra and Bon Bon and after that story featuring Vinyl and Octavia somewhere in April most likely. Results are expected to be similar as the first story but potentially slightly higher due to selected characters being more popular.
L&BB story premise will be mission to infiltrate Carousel Boutique and will be comedic in nature, reasonably short and will feature Rarity naturally.
Advised course of action if fame is the only concerned would be story featuring Luna, Twilight or Derpy (or ideally all). However there is zero inspiration for Luna and Twilight and only Derpy has a planed premise at the moment. Preferred thing to do would be to write more stories with background characters simply because of personal preference and enjoyment. Why do something if you don't enjoy it.
All in all it was productive effort so far with expected results. After all we are just getting started.
