After some poking and prodding from a few prereaders on the subject and some thoughts from readers, I have decided to do away with the weird numbering system and make it more straightforward. Anyone who has been following along this long knows my pattern by now anyway, and between the half-chapters, interludes (and the intermission which was not even at the halfway mark of the story) the numbered chapters were off by 19 chapters. I kept the prologue out of the numbered chapters, because I don't feel quite right if it's just called chapter one for some reason.
Small changes because I am a giant nerd. The new chapter 42, previously called Resolutions, is now called The Answer. The previous chapter 42, called The Answer, is now called The Mutiny.
If you have to ask why I did this, look up 42, then cry just a little that you lack Adams in your life.
Amusingly enough, the chapter entitled Happy Endings now sits on the chapter numbered 69. I giggled.
Now to work on that shower scene with Fleur and Luna for that fic I can't link...
never did number felt so right ^^
When your numbering senses are tingling. And that 69th chapter name is now quite fitting indeed.
