I Got Some News For Y'all · 6:26am Mar 5th, 2017
So, again, it's been a bit since I've posted here. Occasionally I'll check in to see any new messages when I'm on mobile, but I can hardly reply because my phone is buggy and doesn't like to work with the site. So, sorry for those of you who messaged me, because I couldn't respond.
If you're wondering why I couldn't just get on a computer to message y'all or give an update sooner, it's because when I'm not at school, I'm at work, and when I'm not at work, I'm at home trying to eat or sleep. Not a lot of time for me to hop on the computer (especially since it's usually occupied by someone else).
Does it suck? Yes, immensely. I'm working ten to twelve hours every weekend (usually without breaks) and I typically don't get home until late at night. On the weekends that I don't have work, I'm usually off because I have school competitions or something else happening. And when I'm finally given the time to write, I'm just drained and tired. I want to write, I really do, I just never have the time for it. (casts longing look towards Nightmare Night fic that was shunted aside because of adult responsibilities) Sorry, fam.
BUT, this doesn't mean that I'm totally burnt out. Oh, no, I got ideas, and I want them to come to life. I just wish I had the time to CREATE and share them with you all.
By the way, I finally got around to giving the full Hamilton soundtrack a listen and I'm a totally changed person. Bless Lin Manuel Miranda.
Also, if you want to see some more activity from me, then y'all need to give my tumblr account a quick follow. Sorry about the shameless plug, but y'all are more likely to see more activity there than from here because I can actually post stuff there on mobile. Also, it caters to my inability to not blog about every little thing that passes through my ADD riddled brain and y'all can see my thought process and random headcanons as they come and go.
Finally, there's some big news... Next Saturday is the official first day of Spring Break for my school. However, you guys probably aren't going to be hearing from me because I'm not gonna be home. Instead, I'm going to be somewhere quite magical...
That's right, I'm going to Disneyland.
This is what I spent all these months working for. I paid for the majority of this $1000 trip (save for the $150 deposit, that was my mom). I spent these past months accumulating funds for this trip to spend when I get to park and I got to about $1200 in spending money. I'm so dang excited for this trip, you guys, you don't even know. Every day we're there is dedicated to each park and we're getting to be a part of a Disney workshop where we get to see the behind-the-scenes of all the performances at the park. I'm so excited to go and (attempt) to meet all the princesses.
Bad news? Well, the agency that we signed with purchased the plane tickets for the wrong date, so we're taking a bus to Florida instead. It's about 20 hours trip to get there, and we're only stopping a couple times on the way down. So, it's gonna be a long trip, but I'm looking on the bright side: at least we're still going (knocks on wood).
Now it's time to see how far I'll go.
OH! Before I forget, if you guys want to see some of my shenanigans in Florida (or just in general), y'all can follow me on me on Snapchat!
Disregard my exhausted expression, that's just how my face is all the time.
It sounds like you have a great Spring Break planned. Disney World has always been one of my favorite place to go to; I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as least as much as I have in the past.
And don’t worry about your expression. I have that look, too. All that living gets to a person.
I hope you enjoy your time there friend! Youve earned a good one!
I am not throwing away my, shot. I am not throwing away my, shot.
Neat! I'm fifteen minutes down the street from Disneyland. I should totally give you a list of all the good places to eat within 10 miles. LA has the best food.
