No, you didn't read that title wrong. If I'm honest, I never expected that I would get to this point in the fandom myself. I've never been against clop fics, just never really had any interest in them myself. But if there is one thing I love, it's sappy romance stories. And what do ya know, inspiration can strike at any moment, even if it's not for something you expect!
After struggling to write a fantasy epic called "Siege of the Crystal Empire" for two weeks, this morning I just suddenly got the idea for a sexy romantic comedy story, and BOOM! Here I am, nearly half past midnight UK time, college in the morning, and I have finished the second draft of a 2.6k word clop fic.
Considering everything I have written so far has basically been Pathfinder style Sword and Sorcery, it won't surprise me if any of my existing followers decide that this one isn't for them. If you do choose to read it, awesome! I appreciate how much you are interested in my works. But with the eclectic mind full of random ideas that I have, it's not going to be everyone's thing, that much is obvious.
The story will be entitled "A Night at the Theatre", and will be a RainbowPie smutty ship fic. Those two are my OTP after all! They even dominate the majority of stories on my romance bookshelf XD. Anyway, I will likely upload the fic sometime tomorrow or over the weekend. And now with fresh inspiration and satisfaction of having actually freaking completed something for a change, I will go back to finishing the first draft of "Siege of the Crystal Empire", then work on the next chapter of "Sacred and Wild". Depending on how many ideas pop up in my head that I just need to write down ASAP, I intend to work in reverse order to finish other existing incomplete fics....eventually.
