A big thanks for 1000 likes

Good grief, it's been over a year since the story started. A year of 15 chapters and 2 partial chapters and look at where it's come to. A thousand likes. Just, wow.
How about a little story time in my personal thoughts on the story?

Pertaining to the last chapter of That Strange Stallion

It's been a long ride, guys and gals. I'm still amazed at the story's success. 600 likes. Wow. I didn't think anyone would be interested in my work. You sure proved me wrong. But it had to end at some point. I appreciate every effort that's been given to help and motivate me.

Good grief, it's been over a year since the story started. A year of 15 chapters and 2 partial chapters and look at where it's come to. A thousand likes. Just, wow.
How about a little story time in my personal thoughts on the story?
I remember when I wrote the first chapter of it. Just sitting with my family, writing in my story notebook. Emptying out of head of ideas so I don't have to think on them later. I wasn't joking when I said I had started a lot of stories. Some fanfiction, some original, occasionally I mix and match the stories and see where they go. I can't build a story, I can only make a scene and watch it play out. When I wrote the encounter of Fluttershy and Martin. Something about it's simplicity, it's goofiness, it just pulled at me to share it with others. I like to make others smile, maybe not outright laugh, or relieve their problems, but just lift their spirits even the littlest bit. Martin is basically the manifestation of that desire. He came out so well, when I wrote it. Unlike my representation for the rest of the cast. I'm so sorry Applejack, I just can't do accents. But I felt the effort was good enough. So when I posted the first chapter, I was extremely anxious to see what everyone thought of my work. I was probably more surprised then I should have been with the positive feedback. I was glad to bring some interest to others. However, I still felt that I was an abysmal writer and that the people who liked the story and only did it to see where it would go. But they proved me wrong, so extra special thanks to those who stuck with me through the stumbling first few chapters.
Would you believe that I hadn't ever planned on taking this story very far? It's a horrible pet peeve of mine. I have trouble finishing something I started. This story was no different. My thought process goes back and forth from one topic to the next. I find it difficult to stay focused on one thing without having a new idea randomly appear. My best friend can probably attest to that. So you may be wondering how I was able to continue writing while having these random thoughts. Well believe it or not, YOU guys are the reason. I came back to this story DAILY just to see what people thought. Looking for new comments, creating new ideas based on opinions, praise, criticism. YOU guys helped me stay (mostly) focused on this. You guys helped me make new ideas for scenes. So one big thanks to every commenter who contributed to this story with their opinion.
Life and creativity drought made it difficult, but every like and dislike was one more reason to continue, even just the littlest bit each day. I preserved to give each and every person a reason to come back, because that's what you've done for me. You shared my story with your friends. You had my story put into groups. Not one of those groups did I submit the story to. So I have the website to thank for featuring my story when it first started out, I have the groups to thank for sharing my story on their pages, and especially YOU.

You came to my story and read it.
You made a contribution to it's betterment.
You gave me joy in making this idea real.
You gave me hope.

I just hope I was able to give it back, even the littlest bit.

So once again, thank you. Thank you very much.

PS. Wanna know some fun facts? A small portion of the story was written on my phone, while bathing in a tub. Including all of a beginning chapter.
Did you know that I haven't seen more than 4 episodes of the whole show? The season 1 premier and the season 6 finale. Eh heh, ya not sure how to explain that one. Most everything I know about the show is from personal research and reviews by people like Josh Scorcher, Silver Quill and Dr. Wolf.

I think that'll do it for today. One last thing though. The sequel, WILL come. I've not given up yet. I've just no idea when I'll actually complete the first chapter. Oh well, see you all next time.

Your Grateful Writer

I was one of those commentors!

Yours is still THE example i point people to when they say they want to write their OC in equestria.

4435594 and for that you got my thanks.

Heh, you're going to make me blush

I'm on the same boat in regards to the show. The only episode I've watched is #100 the rest of my knowledge of the show comes almost entirely from analyst.

They all lowered their heads in respect, silently thanking him for everything he had done for them. Well, except one commenter.

Dood, I'll be honest, I almost didn't read the story, and the only reason i did (At the start) was because of your profile pic (I love TWEWY). Despite that silly reason, I am glad that I read the story. Similar ideas had been done before, but you made it your own. You managed to hook me immediately and helped keep my mood up during a rough time. I'm glad to of been a part of that strange roller-coaster of a ride. Heck, that's why I asked a question for the finale. Because you earned it dood, you earned it.

A flash of light filled the room as Navieka stepped through the portal. When it faded the portal disappeared. For now.

4435848 Heh, glad I kept the picture then. I loved TWEWY. Except the dual screen combat. Multitasking, not my strong point. Especially the secret boss, ugh. I just cheesed that to beat it. But the story was interesting, the characters entertaining, and Mr. Hanekoma won my favor with just how chill he is.

And you also have my thanks for bringing up my mood for MY rough times.
