I have a psychological horror-thriller story that's been in the works for over a year now, and all I have to show for it is one and a half chapters out of nine. I've been waiting to write the whole thing before I publish it, but I feel a little guilty not having published anything in awhile. So, I have a question:
Would anyone like to see this first chapter published soon, or would anyone rather wait until the entire thing is written as I originally planned? Time is an uncommon commodity for me right now, so I can't guarantee any updates would be predictable. I'm just probing the water here for thoughts.
Join the Renaissance! Start writing a little bit every day! I'd love to see a horror story from you, Raz. Publish as much or as little as you think you can manage, but set goals and try to stick to them. I've been having fun doing that.
I'd be curious to see whatcha got.
I'm all for publishing, so long as you don't fall into the trap that so many stories on the site have, in that they're never finished. Maybe publishing will give you the drive to finish writing, maybe not. But so long as you think this story is worth finishing, I say go for it.
Definitely wait until it's at least all written before publishing. Especially if time is a precious commodity right now.
