Hello dear readers! I am pleased to announce to you that I have cast down writer's block. Until it rears its ugly head once more, I am a happy man. That being said, I know I have kept you waiting long enough, but work on the second chapter of 'The White Rider' is well-underway, as I stated in previous posts, and its release date is not far off at all.
That being said, I would just like to post a little warning. There will be a good deal of LOTR lore within the story, and I hope that I will not confuse any readers with terms they may be unfamiliar with. I'll try to write it so that I can amuse readers that have read the books and those that have not, but I'll be delving into Gandalf's origins at a few points in the story. Apologies if that irks anyone.

Screw those people! They could do with an injection of high-class world building! My question is how you'll tie in the origins of Equestria; are Celestia and Luna Valar? Or Istari?

I like to think that Equestria was a byproduct of Eru's thoughts while Arda was being shaped, which would make Celestia and Luna beings of the same vein as the Ainur.
Hint hint: They've forgotten their pasts. Gandalf isn't too sure of how they're related to Eru either.
But this is all tentative.

In that case, I did misunderstand.
What I meant by them forgetting their pasts is that their memories of their earliest days, when Equestria was just formed, are shrouded in mystery even to them because it's been so long. They still remember Gandalf though. No worries.
