History Lesson Chapter 8 and reasons for delays

It's finally here! The long-awaited Chapter 8 is up for you to view! Seeing as it's been nearly three full months since my last chapter upload, I've got some explaining to do. (Spoilers. Duh.)

First, my grades started to slip, so I had to put ponyfic on the back burner. It was hard, but I have to learn to be a student first, and a brony second.

Second, the Season Six finale really complicated the changelings in two ways. One of these was a simple fix, and one was not. First, the simple fix.

Thorax v. 1.5

Ok, this was a simple enough fix. I've updated History Lesson so that when Bon Bon first appears, she has wings like Thorax's because of Lyra. By the time she reaches Chapter Seven: "Homecoming," her wings have all but lost their luster. It's not a major change, and I actually appreciate all that I can do with it, most notably implying the "love level" of a changeling by a simple mention of the wings.

Now for the complicated fix...

This transformation gave me more options for Bon Bon, the Order of the Blue Changelings, and Chrysalis. However, it also closed off the route I was thinking of taking for Bon Bon as a character. Part of the reason I waited to publish this chapter was deliberate; I wanted to fully explore in my mind each option available to me for the changelings' story arcs. Though not 100% settled, I have a rough idea of where I want to go from here.
