Progress Report: Chapter 47 and the Next Duel · 2:08pm Jan 14th, 2017
So, after what turned out to be some surprisingly quick releases of the last four or five chapters, I'm am once again making you guys wait on the action. However, I AM actively working on it. So here's a few tidbits to tide you over.
1) Chapter 47 will not have any dueling in it- at least, nothing really scripted or part of the story like with just about every other duel. If there's any dueling, it'll just be in flashbacks. Dunno, haven't gotten that far yet.
2) I'm trying to write the chapter such that we can focus on the backgrounds of many of the characters, including Aporia and the rest of the opposition. Nightshroud has grown quite powerful- remember, he made an entire city disappear- and now he's directly stalling our heroes to buy himself time. Even his servants will be cogs in this machine to slow down Twilight and her friends. However, it also means they'll learn more about their enemies than they really cared to know, and they won't seem so evil anymore. Well, most of them, anyway.
3) Regarding the Paradox/Dash vs. Antinomy duel, that's finally in the works. The outline template is set and I've begun working out the first few turns. Here's something else for you, though: I've decided to create more Tech Genus cards for Antinomy's deck, including a new Synchro Monster! May make more Synchros, haven't decided yet. I won't spoil any effects, but here's a few names you guys can look forward to. These five I can confirm will be used by Antinomy in this duel. (Also managed to hide an Ultraman reference in here, but it's pretty esoteric. See if you can spot it before it gets explained in the Author's Notes!)
