My new short story Mission of Mercy is undergoing a lot of editing. Also, I'm removing the Sad tag because I think it can be heartwarming... at least, in a Trick Question sort of way. 
Picture unrelated to story. However, it is a Flutterstory.
I had considered releasing most of the story today (the first three chapters) and the rest in a couple of days, but I don't like leaving a tiny bit that ponies have to wait for. I could release the first two chapters alone, but that would end on a terrible cliffhanger. 
Thus, it's going to be up to a few days before I can release the story. It'll probably be around six thousand words long, typical short story length.
So you won't need to wait long! 
(And I might even update Veneer or TSJ in the interim, depending on how busy I get here.)
