And it's been a very wet and very warm Christmas. Right Now it's storming a little, might continue on overnight. We had some laughs, watched a few movies (mostly Godzilla ones on El Rey), and we opened presents. I slept like a rock on Christmas Eve.
So what have I got to show for Christmas?
A book involving using Toon Boom, a pop filter (plan on getting a Blue Yeti after things cool off), a pair of wireless headphones, and a bottle of BBQ sauce my sister bought in Colorado. It's not the gifts, it's the quality time I spend that matters.
Speaking of which, at this point, I'm probably one of the last to see "Rogue One."
And I have to say, it's very good. Course, being a movie that leads to Episode Four, we'd imagine how it will end, otherwise, there wouldn't be The Original Trilogy. It's how it's presented that got made it all worthwhile. The first act sounds like a typical Sci-Fi movie, but the second half really struck a few nerves; the final battle reminded me of a World War event, namely D-Day. And watching it at the Alamo Drafthouse made the experience more enjoyable. If you are one of those few who haven't seen it yet, do it.
On the other hand, I'm sure many of us have finished or are almost finished with Part 1
And it. Is. Good. This is a far better troll related thing than the actual "Trolls" movie. I'm sure some of us would make crossovers with this someday while Part 2 is being made, and I wouldn't blame you. All together, this is the Netflix-Exclusive Equivalent of Gargoyles for me, if they cancel it, I would be upset.
So I have a lot to catch up on. People to thank, a feed to view, and one more art composition to make before I refine it and two others for New Years. Take care now.
