A good story displays a moral, the best ones attach you to the characters who display them.

New Chapter Out, and New Cover!

Background shamelessly stolen from an actual SoT book
I'd recommend giving that one a read!

    Featured?!

Y'know for a moment there I was scared I'd lost my touch when it came to writing after I took those years on hiatus... this is a really encouraging sign.

Thank you all so much for showing me I've still got it! It's reassuring, and more than a little flattering. Don't think I've really processed it yet, since I basically just woke up.

    Good to be Back

I won't promise that I'll be able to return to my old projects immediately, or even at all. But I did mean it when I said I was coming back! I've spent too long not doing anything about my passion for writing, and that needs to change. :twilightblush:

So, in I come with a brand new story to tell! Please, come and tell me what you think of the beginning to the Coves of Courage!

    The Old Bones Creak

The pegasus' eyes fluttered open blearily. How long had it been since they closed? Weeks? Months? His coat felt uneven and unkempt, his mane was longer than he remembered, and thick with tangles he could feel without even moving yet. When his eyes adjusted to the low light around him, the dusk seeping in through a boarded up window; everything he had known was coated in moss and lichen. Vines

Two Options... [Please Answer!] · 12:38am Dec 14th, 2016

I'll be quick and blunt:
I'm starting to regain my creativity, but only to a degree. I can either:
A) Write a completely random comedy idea I had yesterday to help get my groove back.
B) Wait until I know I've got my focus back, and work on the already promised Christmas-themed fic then.

What are your thoughts? :twilightblush:

I'd say the first. Jumping out of your normal style can help you get into the groove elsewhere.

Take it from me. Write. Its the only way to beat writers block.:rainbowkiss:

Thanks, guys. I'll do it.
It should be out by the end of the day.:heart:

A.

That is, if you haven't decided already, which you might. Such a story might help you get you "groove" back sooner, or at least build your confidence up closer to it's former position.

I meant before midnight where I'm at. :twilightblush:

It's out now, if you want to check it out.

4338920 Yeah, I figured that out after having looked at my feed just now... after commenting.

Been there, my friend.
There was no need to delete the comment, though.

4338925 Well, I was trying to keep the general time where I was at secret, and I decided to get rid of it before anyone else could view it.
