Ok, so I'm nearing the endgame completion of FFXV with nearly 90 hours logged. (For those interested I'm currently in the Costlemark Tower Menace dungeon around floor 60 I believe.) Which means, my playtime has become less.
So as of right now, I'm returning to my story. Since I'm new to the whole time skip thing I've just now laid out what I need to include throughout Atlas' journey through the scholar arc. Early projections say that we have something around 25 chapters left until it finishes and we move on. Of course, since the scholar arc spans roughly thirty years of time, there will be quite some leaps. The arc will also heavily focus on Atlas and his decisions, so there won't be much fluff in terms of hanging out with his friends, except for when I randomly decide to include some more. After all, it's called the scholar arc, not the hanging out with friends arc :P
I hope you'll be able to enjoy it nonetheless.
New chapter will most likely arrive around the weekend or so, keep your eyes peeled and mouths closed.

4331962 Well, I'd consider Atlas an anomaly :P Also, nothing is truly immortal. There is always a way to end a life, with some it's just more... complicated.
