End Thoughts · 4:30pm Nov 18th, 2016
Hecate's is completely up. I never got that new cover art finished up in time. I might try and do it this weekend.
I know the end chapters are a bit rough around the edges, and there's probably a few paragraphs I could have added here and there to smooth things out. Time just became such a commodity and the story had to be finished. And to be honest I didn't know... what to write.
I don't want to dumb things down for people. I want people to fill in some of the blanks themselves. I want there to be open spaces; not plot holes, no, but blanks that you have to kind of think about and figure out. There's no wrong answer. Because the story isn't just about the writer, it's about the reader, too. It's asking the reader to contribute their time, their imagination, and they're the one who shapes it in their mind, by their experiences. That's why two people can have such different reactions to one piece of writing: why something can inspire dread in one person, excitement in another.
I have a lot of end thoughts and not enough time to flesh them all out.
I just want to say thank you to everyone. I appreciate every look at the story, let alone every favorite, and every comment. These stories are ultimately a selfish act, so the fact that other people can find pleasure in them and enjoy them means a lot to me.
I think this is the end of me writing in that universe. Any big stories, anyway.
I know some of you probably have questions about what happens after all that. But, you know. You can feel free to answer them yourselves, if you're ever driven to. People ask now and then, but anyone and everyone is welcome to write in that universe, or use any of my pony characters in any way they see fit. I just like to know so I can see what people are writing.
Anyway, thanks again to everyone for reading, and especially to those who joined me on this silly journey molding a ponyverse I never thought I would.
Speaking of which, the first chapter of the charity story will be up next week. I'm going to have to race against the clock to get this done with everything that's going on but. I suppose I work best under pressure.

I nearly flipped the fuck out, before I finished the whole sentence. Whew. Don't scare me like that bro.
I'll miss this universe, it's one of the first MlP fictions I ever read, way back on fanfiction.net with moonrise and Six Broken Ponies. What a way the characters have come since then, it's quite amazing. I'm eargerly looking forward to whatever you wrote next.
Awww, I'll miss Blooming Moon/Songs of Lost Children. Best 'verse I've ever read in my life. I am excited for the new story, though.

I've always been terrible for breaking clauses. But yes. I don't think I'll ever be done writing.

I never expected to be here myself. It all just kind of kept going and. Well, here we are. But thanks. I do have a few ideas, but first is the new charity story. After that, well. Should be a few interesting things.

Thanks very much. I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you were able to enjoy it so much. There might still be a few shorter stories in this universe, but I don't think there'll be anything huge in the future.
