Apologies for my silence for the last little bit. Some of what I needed to get done before I had time to go back to writing took longer than expected, and I had other projects I was working on that took more of my time than I had thought they would.
So I've finally come around to writing notes for my next story, and I have some time off from work next week when I hope to be able to start writing first drafts of the first few chapters. I don't want to give away too much but it will be another transformation type story though a lot of the action takes place on Earth. So it will be a bit of a departure from what I did before, but I'm about trying out new things.
Also, to Arararagi, I did get your PM, but the site is not letting me send PMs at the moment (keeps complaining about a server error). I had planned to do this blog post anyway, so I figured I would just go ahead with it.
i get that error message as well from time to time. have you tried logging out and signing back in? works for me every time.

Thanks for the advice. I tried that, but it didn't work. I even tried turning off Ad-Block and switching to another browser. Part of the problem may be that I'm posting from the office so I'm going through the corporate proxy server. It's been known to flake out on me before. I'll have to try again when I get on my home network later today.

Thanks for the update, this was exactly the sort of information I was asking for. I'm glad you've started the ground work for your next story and I very much look forward to reading it. Very curious what you have in store for us this time around.
