To everyone who offered their prayers under my last blog, it is appreciated. My father seems to be stable, so there seems to be progress.
However, I must make an important announcement in response to recent events.
For those of you who have been playing close attention, my account name has had a line struck through it numerous times over the last few months. That represents that the account has been banned. For recurring reasons outside my control that I would prefer to not discuss, my account has been issued multiple bans over a stretch of time recently and I was given a warning that if it is banned again, it will be permanent.
Having been on this site since July of 2011, I would hate to have to leave forever. However, should I get banned again, I do not want that to be the end of my writing entertaining all of you. So I will provide links to other accounts under my control that you can continue to follow my work should I get kicked off Fimfiction again.
Like I said, I would hate to have to leave this site after providing entertaining works on it for so long, but I do not have much say in how this site is moderated. If my account gets banned again, I will not ever be able to return. To all of you who have stood by me these past five years, thank you. Your feedback and praise is what keeps me going and I will do all I can to maintain control over my account from now on. But should that tragic day ever come, you all know where to find me. Let's just hope I can avoid a final ban from here on out.
WHAT?!
Oh hell no! What's being done to you nothing more than a pile of horseapples!
If you'd like, I'd more than willing to put myself out there against the admins.
Just say the word!

P.S.
Glad you're dad made it through okay.
Any idea WHy they keep banning your account? have you been hacked?

maybe some idiots report him for stupid reasons just because they don't like him or his story and admins didn't bother enough to look if these reports are justified.

All too True. Sadly. *Shakes my Furry Head*
Hm.
We should hope that your name as it is now won't be removed, and that if it does, we know where we can find you. But we cannot forget that once an escape plan is established, one can also look for a defense plan.
Should they challenge you, we will help as we can. Bans can only be issued with a due cause and proof of cause. They can't just shut you out without a hearing, even on the internet. I refuse to believe that.
4301006 You know the reasons. A friend of mine told you a week or so ago, didn't he?
I hate that people see fit to torment you. I also tried the fanfiction.net link, it is a broken link. Might want to take a look at that.

jep.
still it wasn't the first time you had that kind of problem and i am sure that others tried it too to report you so you get banned just because they don't like you or your story. there are many who try such things instead of just ignoring things/people they don't like.
4301320 No. It's like I said. The admins have a nasty habit of getting the wrong guy.
4301390 sometimes its because they didn't bother looking if someone realy did something wrong.
someone reports you, admin sees it and think he/she must have a reason for doing so and banns you without looking if you realy did something wrong (if there is even an admin who decides that and not an automatic system).
i have seen such things very often on different sites (especially sites like youtube).
4301504 I wouldn't say that. I mean along the lines of not bothering to check or not caring if one side may be responsible for hostilities that resulted in the feud on both sides and instead focusing on just the feud itself. They don't ever seem to bother with looking at the roots.

Or the opposing party to Humanity happens to know those in charge. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen it happen here and would be the second time it's happened to me. I can't utter a word in their presence without them personally coming down on me (even the ones not involved in the following issue, which shows an unhealthy level of administrative grouping) after I stood up for an author being attacked by an off-site clique who either didn't like his work or were jealous or something, and took over the argument/fight so the jackasses would be fighting with me instead of the author - made sure they'd keep their attention on me instead of him. Do a good deed, the other guys get off scot-free and you get your face rubbed in the dirt. Get piled on for no reason by lots of people over the years, no one with authority shows up to help you.
I won't mention names because at this point I'm wondering if it's a matter of time until they see this, which would kinda confirm Humanity's being watched unfairly, or that some of us somehow wind up on a private and unofficial 'black list' for whoever they don't happen to like.

Technically nothing's stopping them from doing exactly that. Having been in website community administration for many years longer than this lot no doubt (even been a member of this site longer than a couple of them), I've seen every form of corruption under the sun. Secret blacklists, a little too much unprofessional friendship between those in charge - taking personal interest in what should be a completely unbiased issue involving another administrator, echo chambering, getting too chummy with regular users and granting them reprieves and favors (especially turning up too quickly for a request to have been sent and processed, like they'd been sent an IM over a private messenger to come defend them).
On that note I've seen a very well-known author on this site attack a less-popular but no less noteworthy author under the EXTREMELY thin guise of criticism while just tearing the author and his story apart. His post was removed and he was blocked from posting in that story, and instead he had one of his followers come post a scathing response about being blocked in the story's comments FOR him, which is block-evasion and if it's not against the rules, should be. Not that it matters, the admins have stated to the same author before that he shouldn't be deleting posts or blocking people no matter how caustic and toxic they're being towards him. Which is utter bullshit hugboxing and protecting popular people who feel like trolling.
4301276 Are you trying to access it from a mobile device?
Hey, Humanity. If you remember me, then you probably know why I'm here. I never told anybody this, but I had the same issue with two off-site fiction publishing accounts a number of months back. In both situations, I barely mustered the power and the support to keep my accounts on their respective sites, but a scant week later, one of the sites completely disregarded its founders' ruling on the status of my account and banned me anyway, so I know what you're going through. I can also completely understand your bias, as I somewhat hate people who would do such a thing just to spite others.
On that note, I would like to offer my support in resolving this matter on a more permanent basis. If you or anyone else remembers back in 2011 and 2012, Coal Buck became practically legendary for posting his story My Second Life on the site. Then he abandoned it due to peer pressure and a string of personal problems, and people on the site subsequently had the story obliterated when they didn't like that things had gone sour and that he couldn't keep posting.
On that note, since I am the official author of said story's continuation project, I know the original manager of the deleted story, Extantdread, and recently found out when he still actively helped Coal with the story that he had quite a few connections inside the administrative network of FIMFiction, and I heard rumors going around about him that he even had an indirect connection to knighty himself. If need be, I can contact him and some of the moderators (even knighty himself, though with how much he works on the site, he likely won't respond) and see if I can get some strings pulled to have one or more of them find and suspend the accounts of those poor sods who dare to tarnish your good name. All you need to do is ask.
I also congratulate you on finally managing the exceptional feat of publishing the first volume of The Lost Element, and offer my sincerest wishes, that your father may be able to fully recover from the condition that affects him.
Also, for the other users who have commented on this post, I would like it if you could give me a list of those few high-ranking people on the site you know of, and I'll try to contact them and inform them of the situation.
Finally, I made sure to review the links so you would know they would work, and Crazy Chaos is right: the link is functional, but has a capitalization error that may prevent some browsers not equipped with HTML5 from viewing it. Your non-mobile link should be this, try it out and see if it works properly on your end, Chaos:

As I already stated, I know what that's like. Being an aspiring programmer and a moderator of a couple upcoming games, as well as a Windows 10 Insider, I know exactly the kind of corruption you're talking about. Such corruption has done horrible things in this world. Just look at ISIS and Anonymous. I believe I could help you as well if any other future problems occur on your end.
4301946 Please my friend, if the lousy so'n'so who is doing this to you, just ignore him! I feel strongly for people who I care about and view as a friend, you being one I can relate to (school troubles and the like). Please,Please PLEASE ignore the swines on this website who are ttp (taking the piss) out of you! I am a huge fan of TLE and it's offshoots and I'd hate to see you go! Just remember I'll be here for you!
